...................................Prayer...................................
May Your continual pity, O
Lord, cleanse and defend Your Church; and, because without You she
cannot endure in safety, may she ever be governed by Your bounty.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with
You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, world without end.
Amen.

...They're Back
My graphics, that
is. I was going through my files over the weekend, folder by
folder, and was really amazed by the sheer amount of images that I have
created throughout the years.

Hundreds and hundreds of Poser renders,
hundreds of pixel painted graphics, animations, altered photos and
other types of images. I'm actually not quite sure why I removed
them from the website a couple of years ago, but I figured that it was
time to dust them off, rework them, pretty them up and offer them again
for download. I hope you find something that you like, and if you
do use something and get a chance, drop me a line to let me see it.
A couple of weeks ago I was talking
with a friend of mine, a fellow Christian homeschooling mom and we
started discussing politics and religion. I'm far from being a
great Catholic apologist; no memory recall to speak of and I'm really
terrible at putting my thoughts into words. As we were discussing
our beliefs it occurred to me how hard it is to discuss different
aspects of faith with someone that a) probably doesn't believe that I'm
really a Christian (though she was much too nice to actually say it
*smile*) and b) find common ground when our frame of reference is so far
apart.
I do feel very blessed to have been
born into the Church; a solid foundation. So even though I briefly
explored other faiths, I soon realized that something very important was
missing from them. Thankfully, through the grace of God, I don't
have to. I can't imagine being a member of a faith that's been
stripped of Sacred Tradition, the Body and Blood of Christ, the
Sacraments, and where anyone (and everyone) can (and does) have their
own interpretation of the Sacred Scriptures.
My Momma had a colonoscopy this morning
and it was fine...no polyps, no cancer. Thank you, dear Lord!
Please continue to keep her and my Daddy in your prayers. |
